Disability insurance- how long does it take to receive the first check?

If you’re talking about short term disability at work, it usually takes about a month depending on what company they use. You can’t get disability from the government unless you’re disabled for at least a year.

May take time, most things like this take too, much time. Be very nice but the squeaky wheel gets the grease
