My mother-in-law passed away. I know she had an insurance policy for my husband in case she dies. The problem is the medical examiner’s office said it is a suspected drug overdose. I”m assuming they meant prescription drugs because she was on a lot of them. If she was drinking alcohol and taking her normal prescription which caused her to die would the insurance company deny the benefits? We need the money to pay for the burial.

My father was a disabled vet who passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He had no life insurance, and I am the only family member who will be responsible for his funeral arrangements.
I don’t have much money to bury him. I think that he had a burial plot waiting for him in New York, but with him having no insurance, will this be a very expensive thing to move him from Michigan to New York?? Help please I don’t have anyone that will financially help me bury my daddy.

My father passed away of cancer april 16, 2008. He had no life or burial insurance except for VA. He was a disabled veteran and they only paided $300 and his burial in $6,500. I am seeking help on how to take care of this i have no support and i really do not know what to do. My mother passed of cancer april 21, 2000. I am very lost and confused. Both my parents passed aways in their home and i just can not sell, i feel their beings here. We built this house from ground up and our names are in the cement. I have started some donation jars but i know not what to write on them. I am low income and disabled plz help. It really cost alot to go out of this world and i would like to keeps what my parent work so hard to do before their cancer took their life. Thank you and God Bless you.
