Vista, the Sunrise health insurer, announced Monday it has been awarded a three-year contract to be the sole health insurance carrier for employees of Broward public schools, the county’s largest employer.
Starting Jan. 1, Vista will offer six health plans for the schools’ 41,000 eligible employees and their dependents, who will be able to choose among four health maintenance organization plans and two preferred provider organizations.
